Sophia Roe: Objects of Affection
In April 2024, I had the honor of documenting the process behind Sophia Roe's special food installation Objects of Affection, presented at Salone del Mobile | Design Week, in Milan.
Witnessing her craft in person was unbelievably exciting. Not only did the food taste amazing, but the relentless dedication and focus Sophia showed while at work was mesmerizing. Being able to render that dedication through film was even better. This medium always allows me to feel the power of time, practice, trial and error, and commitment.
I documented this project through film photography, Super 8 film, and video. Some of these photos were published by Elle US and Who What Wear.
